Empowering Women at Simple Decor: A meeting with the Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO)

Recently, on 18th May 2023, we had the incredible opportunity to participate in a momentous meeting with the Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), within the framework of her visit to Vietnam, where we discussed the importance of empowering women in the global marketplace.

During the meeting, we had the privilege of engaging in a meaningful dialogue with the Director-General of the WTO. This influential leader shared insights into WTO’s initiatives to empower women economically and discussed the importance of women’s participation in international trade. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to share our knowledge and experiences as a successful women-led company in the furniture and decoration industry. We also discussed the challenges we have encountered along our journey.
