Seagrass

Seagrass is a flowering plant native to Vietnam where an abundance of rivers and lakes gather. This plant grows partially submerged in bodies of water and have been cultivated by Vietnamese for centuries. They are used in crafting household items and even furniture. Seagrass is known for its flexibility and durability when dried making them the perfect material for Vietnamese weavers.

Bamboo

Bamboo is a tall grass of great cultural and economic importance to the Vietnamese. They are favored for their durability and flexibility while used for furniture or home household items. Bamboo farming is sustainable due to their fast growth and survivability in most conditions.

Rattan
